Nursing Home Ministry
UOC believes that our nursing home ministry is a vital part of our church outreach. In Acts 6:1-15 the disciples address a growing concern among the Grecian Jews concerning a lack of ministry to the elderly widows. As a result, Stephen is placed in charge of this area of ministry for the disciples. If you have a heart for the aging and elderly please consider volunteering your time in our nursing home ministry.
Duties Include: Our Nursing Home Ministry runs from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM every Sunday morning with enough time remaining to make the UOC 11:00 AM service. Volunteers are needed for singing, prayer, and assisting residents to and from the service. Please see Arleen Mitchum or Beth Schad for more information
