Our Story

How it all started...

A Legacy of Love and Service
Our church began with a simple yet profound vision: to be a place where people experience God’s love and extend that love to the community and the world. What began as a small gathering of believers has grown into a vibrant church with a heart for service. From the very beginning, we felt called to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of those around us, and God has faithfully multiplied our efforts.
The Pantry Ministry:Feeding Thousands One of the pillars of our church’s outreach is the Pantry Ministry. What started as a small initiative to help local families in need has blossomed into a life-changing program that feeds thousands of families each year. Through donations from Golden Harvest and local partners, we provide food to those facing economic hardship, offering not just nourishment for the body but hope for the soul. We are blessed to witness the impact of this ministry, as it allows us to build relationships with families and share God’s love in a tangible way.
The Coffee Shop Ministry: A Place of Refuge Our church’s coffee shop has become a beloved part of our outreach efforts. Free and open to the public, it serves as a warm, welcoming space for everyone, but especially for those who are homeless or struggling. Through this ministry, we provide more than just coffee; we offer a listening ear, a safe environment, and an opportunity to share God’s grace. We are not just serving drinks—we are building connections and providing a place where individuals can feel seen, valued, and cared for.
The Christmas Toy Giveaway: Bringing Joy to Children Each Christmas, we host a Toy Giveaway that brings joy to hundreds of children in our community. For many of these children, this may be the only gift they receive. Through generous donations and the hard work of our volunteers, we ensure that every child has something for Christmas, reminding them of the love and hope that the holiday represents. It’s a moment of celebration, not just for the children, but for the entire church family as we share in the joy of giving.
The Thanksgiving Feast: Serving the Hungry At Thanksgiving, we come together to serve a community feast for hundreds of people in need. Whether they’re struggling financially or experiencing loneliness, our Thanksgiving Feast is a way to provide not only a hot meal but also the warmth of community. It’s a day where we express gratitude for what we have and share that abundance with others, living out the heart of Christ by feeding the hungry and offering a seat at the table to all who need it.

Expanding the vision...

Global Impact: Satellite Campuses in Panama and Belize Our church’s mission reaches beyond our local community. In obedience to the call to go into all the world, we have established two satellite campuses—one in Panama and one in Belize. These campuses provide spiritual growth, fellowship, and support to communities in Central America. Through the work of dedicated pastors and volunteers, these ministries are planting seeds of faith and making a lasting impact in the lives of countless individuals, both spiritually and practically.
God has blessed us with incredible opportunities to serve, and we are humbled by the impact our ministries have made. From feeding thousands in our pantry to sharing the love of Christ in distant countries, our church’s mission is clear: to be the hands and feet of Jesus, sharing His love, hope, and provision with the world. We believe that as we continue to grow and serve, God will continue to use us in ways beyond our imagination.

Where we are headed in 2025 ...

As we enter 2025, Unity Outreach Church is embracing a season of intentional growth—not just in numbers, but in every area of life. This year, our focus is on growth in faith, prayer, worship, finances, relationships, and personal development. We are called to move beyond stagnation and embrace forward motion, knowing that God brings the increase when we cooperate with Him. Just as Paul and Apollos worked faithfully to plant and water, we too must actively engage in the process of growth, trusting that God will bring the results. Our mission remains clear: to lead people into a fully devoted life to Jesus, marked by transformation in all areas of life.
To support this vision, we’ll implement new initiatives, including dedicated months of focus on key growth areas and the reopening of our prayer room for personal and corporate prayer. We’ll also introduce life groups, where members can connect, learn, and grow together. As we continue serving our community, we believe God will lead us into deeper, lasting growth. Let’s step forward in faith and embrace all that God has for us this year.
